Ba Na Hills located on Chua Mountain in the Truong Son Mountains, 30 km from the center of Da Nang City is one of the ideal destinations for visiting and relaxing in the central of Vietnam.

With altitude of 1,487 m above the sea, Ba Na Hills have cool climate around the year with the average temperature of 18 Degree Celsius. In Ba Na, there are four seasons in one day: it is cool like in spring in the morning, at noon is summer, autumn in the afternoon and it is cold like in winter at night.

In the early 20th century, the French Colonists began to build many resorts, villas and hotels in Ba Na. At that time, Ba Na quickly becomes a popular destination for colonists and foreign tourists.

At the top of the mountain is the Linh Ung Pagoda, a gorgeous Buddhist Temple that provides visitors a chance for peaceful reflection. Linh Ung Pagoda is considered as one of the biggest pagoda in Da Nang City in both of scale and architecture. This pagoda has a combination between modern style and traditional style. The centrepiece of the pagoda is the Guan Yin Statue that is considered as the highest statue in Vietnam (67 meters height approximately 30 stories).

Not far from the pagoda is a cable car – but it's not just any cable car. On 25 March 2009, the cable car running in the Ba Na Hills was recognized by Guinness World Records as being both the highest and the longest non-stop cable car in the world. The cable car provides a great way to get to the top of the Ba Na Hill Station and gives views of the surrounding forests and mountains. The record-breaking cable car runs from the Base of Ba Na Mountain to Vong Nguyet Mountain's Peak.

Visiting Ba Na, tourists not only enjoy pure atmosphere of unspoiled forest but also contemplate spectacular views that not many places have. In Ba Na, there are more than 256 fauna species, including the rare Asian black bear, pheinardia ocellata and 543 flora species. Besides, tourists can see a colorful spring garden with numerous flowers such as hortensia and orchids, and the unspoiled beauty of wild flower.
